Das Angebot richtet sich an Schüler, die aus dem näheren Umfeld von Herrnhut kommen und starkes Interesse am Beruf des Medientechnologen Druck haben.
Die Firma Abraham Dürninger & Co. GmbH in Herrnhut, 1747 gegründet, hat als eines der ältesten noch bestehenden Unternehmen in Sachsen eine bewegte Geschichte aufzuweisen.
Während der Veranstaltung absolvieren die Jugendlichen einen Betriebsrundgang in der Druckerei, verfolgen den Produktionsablauf von der Gestaltung bis zum fertigen Druck und führen Gespräche mit Personalverantwortlichen und Auszubildenden. Außerdem können sich die Teilnehmenden ein T-Shirt selbst drucken und als Andenken mit nach Hause nehmen.
